Screening for Plagiarism

FISYS (Frontier of Information System and Technology) applies strict plagiarism screening for all submitted manuscripts before acceptance.

To ensure academic integrity and originality, all manuscripts submitted to FISYS are screened for plagiarism prior to peer review. The journal upholds high ethical standards and does not tolerate any form of plagiarism or duplicate publication.

Plagiarism Screening Process

  • All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software before review.
  • The acceptable similarity index is less than 20% (excluding references, quotations, and standard methodologies).
  • Any manuscript with significant overlap (≥20%) will be returned to the author for revision or rejected immediately.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources.

Consequences of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected, the editorial board will take appropriate actions, which may include:

  1. Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
  2. Notification to the corresponding author’s institution or funding body in severe cases.
  3. Retraction of the article if plagiarism is found post-publication.
By submitting to FISYS, authors acknowledge that their work will undergo plagiarism screening and agree to comply with the journal’s strict originality requirements.
