PENERAPAN MODEL PBL BERBANTUAN MEDIA “TASUKA” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Lack of students' writing skills makes teachers need to use learning models and media that can help them improve students' writing skills. One of them is by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the TASUKA (Syllical Garden) learning media. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. With class 1 participants of 25 students and Indonesian language teacher informants. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the application of the PBL model assisted by TASUKA (Syllical Garden) media was able to improve the writing skills of students at SDN 2 Jombang. It is proven by students being able to write using the syllables ka, ki, ku and ko as well as la, li, lu, le and lo. Students who have writing skills also affect the learning outcomes they get. The increase in students' writing skills can be seen from the students' ability to write words and student scores which have increased from the assignments given by the teacher. With an average writing assessment score students get 85 which belongs to the high category. So that the use of TASUKA learning media can be considered for use in PBL model learning. However, teachers can innovate and further develop TASUKA learning media as a tool for Indonesian language subjects.
