Screening of Plagiarism
WellSafe: Journal of Applied Non-Clinical Health Sciences
To maintain academic integrity, all manuscripts submitted to WellSafe undergo a thorough plagiarism screening process prior to peer review and publication. This ensures originality, proper citation, and respect for intellectual property.
Tools Used
Manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate. The editorial team may use additional tools when necessary to ensure accuracy.
Plagiarism Threshold
The acceptable similarity index is below 20% (excluding references, quotations, and methodological texts). Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected outright depending on severity.
Editorial Actions
- Minor Overlap: Authors are asked to revise and resubmit.
- Significant Plagiarism: Manuscripts are rejected immediately.
- Confirmed Misconduct: The case may be reported to the author’s institution, and future submissions may be restricted.
This process ensures that WellSafe only publishes manuscripts that reflect original, high-quality, and ethical research contributions.
