All manuscripts submitted to WellSafe undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published articles. The process is conducted in a fair and unbiased manner as follows:
- Initial Screening: The editorial team reviews the submission for scope, format, and plagiarism check.
- Assignment to Reviewers: Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
- Double-Blind Review: Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure impartiality.
- Reviewers’ Recommendations: Reviewers provide feedback, comments, and recommendations (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject).
- Editorial Decision: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewers’ comments and the quality of revisions.
- Revision and Resubmission: Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ feedback.
- Final Acceptance: After successful revisions, the manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Proofreading and Publication: Accepted manuscripts go through copyediting, proofreading, and final layout before publication.
