Correction and Retraction Policy
WellSafe: Journal of Applied Non-Clinical Health Sciences
To safeguard the accuracy and reliability of the scholarly record, WellSafe has established a clear policy for issuing corrections and retractions when necessary. This policy follows the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Corrections
Corrections (Errata or Corrigenda) will be published if:
- There are significant errors that affect the accuracy of the publication but do not invalidate its findings.
- Minor errors in data, names, affiliations, or references are identified post-publication.
- Updates are needed to clarify the content for readers without altering core results.
Retractions
Retractions will be issued in cases of:
- Evidence of research misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification.
- Unethical research practices that violate accepted standards.
- Major errors that invalidate the main findings of the paper.
- Duplicate or redundant publication.
Retracted articles will remain accessible online but will be clearly marked with a Retraction Notice explaining the reasons for retraction, ensuring transparency for the academic community.
Withdrawal Policy
If an article is withdrawn prior to publication due to author request or ethical concerns, a statement of withdrawal will be published in its place to maintain a consistent scholarly record.
