FORSEC is committed to upholding the integrity of scholarly publishing. This ethics statement follows COPE guidelines and applies to authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Authors
  • Submit original work not published elsewhere.
  • Provide accurate citations & declare sources.
  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, or manipulation.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Include all significant contributors as authors.
Editors
  • Ensure fair, objective editorial decisions.
  • Maintain manuscript confidentiality.
  • Base acceptance on scientific merit.
  • Avoid editorial conflicts of interest.
Reviewers
  • Assess manuscripts objectively and timely.
  • Provide constructive, clear feedback.
  • Keep manuscript content confidential.
  • Decline review if conflict exists.
Publisher
  • Uphold academic ethics & publication integrity.
  • Support transparent procedures for misconduct.
  • Facilitate final editing and archiving.

Handling Misconduct

Suspected ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication, undisclosed conflicts) will be investigated by the editorial office following COPE guidelines. Actions may include correction, retraction, or notifying the authors' institutions.
