FORSEC | Allegations of Misconduct
FORSEC: Forensic & Security Journal takes all allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. Any form of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or manipulation of data will not be tolerated.
When an allegation of misconduct is reported, the editorial board will conduct an initial assessment. If evidence supports the allegation, a thorough investigation will be carried out in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors may be asked to provide raw data, explanations, or other supporting documents.
Possible actions taken include: issuing corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or referring the case to the author’s institution or relevant authorities. The journal ensures fairness, confidentiality, and due process in handling all allegations.
