The inaugural edition (Volume 1, Number 1) of the GreenSharia: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business for Sustainability was released in May 2025 with Mr. Dedi Satriawan serving as the Editor-in-Chief.

On December 10, 2025, GreenSharia: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business for Sustainability received an e-ISSN with ISSN number 3123-2175 (online media). Starting with Volume 1 Number 2, November 2025, published by the Indonesian National ISSN Center - National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
